What to buy?

Wanting to get 50 broilers for my family. We eat mostly fryed, baked or grilled chicken. Should I get white corish rocks in ST run, pullets or cockerls? Or is there really any difference at 8 weeks?

Totally a matter of choice . On average the roos will grow faster than pullets , but straight run are cheaper .

There is a difference at 8 weeks. Mine are 8 weeks now, and I could do the cockrels, but I'm letting them all go another 2 weeks. The girls really need it. Some of them are ok sized, and I would bet some are only about 3-4 pounds now, so they would only be 2-3 pounds after processing...
