I have week and a half old chicks. Were supposed to get bad storms tonight. My wifi is already out and lights are flickering and its only just begun. If I lose power, my heat plate will go out. Obviously, I don't have a generator. Advice for keeping the babies warm enough?

What's the temperature there? If it isn't too cold, they might be okay if you can build them a cave to trap the heat they generate. If it's still too cold for them and you don't have a way to heat water, holding them close to you would also help.
Pullovers with the wide front pocket are good for snuggle spots...

This is happening here. Big storm about to roll through. Luckily it’s 70+ in my insulated garage right now. If we lose power, glass mason jars with hot water sounds like the best option. Any other ideas/thoughts?
That's what I've heard to do: bottles of hot water. I'm interested to hear others' ideas.
