I've burned them before when my neighbors were tending a HUGE burn pile to clear brush - it had been burning for days (they were tending it), so it worked for me, but I didn't realize that was probably the ONLY way it would work
I think burial would probably be the least complicated. I set pallets over the grave to keep out our resident stinkin' fox that keeps coming around. He tried to dig up my beloved dog's grave and that really chapped my tail.
