what to do when to silkies fight ?

i've got 2 silkies and they are always fighting . one of the silkies puts her head down and seems to be glaring at the other.they are usually chasing each other round our run .they are always pecking each other but they have never recieved any serious injuries. does anybody know how to stop them fighting.

you could try separating them for awhile.

Are they both females? There is a chance that one could peck the other in the head and seriously injure her. But it is too bad if you only have 2 to separate. Do you think maybe they are just playing? I have two roosters who play pretty rough but they always sleep together at night and they love each other.

I had them separated for three days once and when I let them out they stood under a bush with their heads together all afternoon.

thank you anyway , but inot very sure if the two silkies are male or female

. before i had a silkie but onre day it started crowing so i'm not so sure about the other 2.

! Sorry to hear about your battling silkies. I don't know if you have something to worry about or not. I know chickens are social and live by the law of the pecking order. It may just work itself out when their determine their order. Best of luck.
