What to do with goose if eggs donot hatch

How do I handle it if the eggs my goose is sitting on does not hatch. How do I handle her? Will she mourn if I just remove the eggs and break up the nest?

Remove the eggs. She’ll be upset about it for a day or two but it’s better than letting her starve herself in a pointless venture. I always take the eggs from my girls, it isn’t good to let them sit on rotting eggs.

Also incubation takes between 28 to 30 days depending on the breed.
