What to do with newborn chick?

My Nurture Right 360.
I have to let the trays soak, and scrub out the water channels after each hatch. It's some work. I was torn between the Incuview and the NR, but the NR outweighed the Incuview in all respects, in my opinion. I love it. Cleaning is the only tough thing.

As you've been told it's fine to remove it. However if you'd like to leave it in cover the sides of the incubator (avoiding any air vents) with a towel. The darkness and inability to spot anyone walking by will calm it down significantly.
