What are pheasant eggs good for? are they edible? and can I leave them in the cage and will the hens hatch them? thanks

Little cold and damp yet. I'd eat them until the weather stabilizes or collect them and sell them to others. If the hen has a little privacy she may sit.

You could always sell them to me!

I've been looking for some good pheasant eggs.

I would if I knew how to ship eggs and make sure they stayed fertile (tips hint hint)

If they are fertile when you ship them they will stay fertile. Lots of people ship eggs. The eggs I receive are usually wrapped in bubble wrap individually and placed in an egg carton that has bubble wrap in it to keep the eggs stable. Then the egg carton is placed in a larger box cushioned on the bottom top and sides to keep it in the middle. The post office has a large priority box a carton will fit in.

Do a search on "packing eggs" There were several photos available.

Tempting to take a ride across the river and relieve you of the eggs but alas I live next to a pheasant release site for hunting. Too many idiots with guns around.
