What does everyone do with your eggs? I don't have enough to give away or sell. I hope I have enough to get through the holiday baking.I have 3 laying out of 5.

When we have enough we share with others. When we only have enough for us we use them. And sometimes during the winter we have none and we have to buy some......

Your local food bank may accept them. Also this is a great time to blow out your eggs. They make wonderful Christmas decorations.

I'm getting 6-9 eggs a day, so we have more than we can use. We do sell some, but we've been giving away to family and friends a lot. Over Thanksgiving, we gave away our whole store, we've been using them right out of the chicken's butt today! (Was that too much information?)

Before I found a steady buyer for my eggs, I would sometimes have as many as 6 to 8 dozen in the fridge. One day, I took about 8 dozen extras to the local fire station and gave it to those guys (and gals).

They really appreciated it.

I have 28 layers, sell for $3.00/doz. and we eat lots of eggs. Right now I have a customer waiting list for eggs and doubt I'll ever have to put a sign out. I don't think I've ever had more than 3 dozen backed up.
Egg sales about covers feed for all the birds and in spring I hope to start selling hatching eggs.
