What to do?

So I had a baby turkey hatch today and she had some trouble coming out of the egg, I had to peel the shell away, but once she was out she had been VERY noisy and moving a good bit. She pooped Abt 30 minutes ago and had drank some water since then but I have not seen her eat anything, she is about 6 hours old. Anything I should do?

She should be okay. If she is lethargic, not eating or drinking, or having any other issues let us know!

I don't know anything about baby turkeys but chicks and ducklings absorb the yolk and are good for a day or two.

Chicks are fine with no food for up to 72 hours after hatch, so I assume it’d be similar for turkeys. I wouldn’t worry.
