Hello again
I know that hens eat pretty much anything, and that they are omnivores so they can also eat meat. Though I plan on only feeding my girls an organic vegetable diet, (they can get their meat from bugs and worms) I was wondering if there was anything they should NOT eat? I heard to feed them garlic only when they are sick because garlic or cabbage can flavor the eggs. But my question is , is there anything they should definitely stay away from? Like dogs and chocolate. I wouldn't want to give my girls something to eat that is potentially dangerous to their health. Even if it is a plant or vegetable or grain ect... Also are they able to eat anything when they are pullets or should they stick to their pullet food? Thank you Jrhy
