2 of my BO hens are broody I think? They've been in the boxes for 2 days now, I think? I'm assuming they haven't left the boxes much as I can't be out there all the time. I'm not sure how many eggs they're on, we do have a roo so all the eggs should be fertilized. I'm nervous ;) I've heard horror stories about broody hens not eating and barely drinking, losing feathers etc. So what do I need to do? What can I expect? It's 21 days to hatch correct? We only have 4 nesting boxes, but 2-3 of them lay in a nest they made under the boxes kind of in the corner. Do I need to move them? I tend to lean toward letting nature take its course BUT I want to protect and take care of my hens and ultimately do what's best for them

Any help is greatly appreciated

Also should get some little feeder things to put in there for food and water? Something like what we have our oyster shell and grit in? I think they are hamster feeders or something like that to put in a cage

I don't think they've eaten or drank anything in two days
