Hello! When you guys have a momma hen raising baby chicks, what do you feed them? (Is it ok to feed the momma hen to eat chick starter?)

I was told you can feed game feed or broiler feed but make sure to have oyster shells for the laying hens. theres like 22% protein in the broiler feed.
