What to fill cracks with?

So I'm about 3/4 of the way done with my pallet coop.

As I'm assembling everything there are gaps in between where two pieces join and such.

I was wondering if anyone knew what I could fill these cracks with?

You could cover them with small strips of wood?

Cover with strips of hardware cloth. How wide are the gaps? would caulking fill it?

Caulk is the non-wood-worker's friend. I sealed every little crack and opening with clear caulk. You can't see it and it keeps everything warm, dry and draft free. I must have used a gallon of it. But it worked great.
