What to look for at Tractor Supply?

I can't meet the minimum order of 25 to order online, so I am going to browse TSC next week for chicks. We are looking for laying hens. I think I feel confident to be able to figure out what the females are, but can you give me suggestions to what to look for - finding a good layer?

You can't go wrong with the sex links. No danger of getting a roo by mistake and they are friendly little laying machines--big dark eggs and lots of them.

sex links are the way to go.white star on head=roo,no star=hen.

I live in Virginia, and the local news paper had an advertisment from Tractor supply, saying they had red sexlinks for sale.
