What to name my chicks

I will have about 20 Marans hatching on April fools day what should i name them???

You could name them after some of your interests, like I heard of someone naming their three new hens after Peggy, Angelica, and Eliza from the Broadway show, Hamilton, or you could name them something based on their markings or appearance, such as Peanut or Stripe. You could name them something for the holiday, or the time of year. Even interesting names come from things found in nature such as Fern or Amber. Best of luck!

We went with "old fashioned" names like Penny, Gertrude, Gladys etc....it was lots of fun coming up with 24 of them!

I went with food names for my new brood, like Cannoli, Gumbo, Bourbon, Waffle, Lemon, etc etc. Good luck with your hatch!

My 8 year old daughter likes Terriaki, Terri for short...

Getting new chick's next month, naming 4 after granddaughters and four after nieces. That way hubby can remember...Elle rose, Lil, eden, izzy, Riley, Kellie, Kiana, alyssa
