What to put in the pen....

For button quail to dust in? I was thinking maybe DE? But Im not sure. Maybe just a mix of dirt and sand?

Hi Sam! I put a shallow pan with dirt / sand in the cage. They dust bathe and eat the little goodies they find.
I sprinkle powdered egg shells over the sand in the cages with 'laying age' girls to help with calcium (and they have cuttle bones too).
