What traits could this Roo pass on? (pictures)

So, what you need to do is breed him to your hens, hatch out a whole bunch of eggs, and take pictures, LOL! Then we'll have a better idea of what you are going to get (hindsight is 20-20, as we all know, LOL!). Seriously, that would also give those who know genetics a better idea of what both the rooster and the hens are carrying in the way of genetic material. The only thing is, you'd have to hatch out quite a few chicks, and keep them long enough to see their mature plumage. If you can get away with doing that, it shouldn't be too hard to sell ready-to-lay pullets that you don't want to keep, and surplus roosters can go in the freezer (as stewing hens) if you can't sell all of them.

He is a pretty rooster; I'll be interested to see what you get from him.

HAPPILY! The bator holds about 24 though so maybe a few batches?! How many is quite a few?!!

Just DON'T tell the boyfriend! He feeds all the ones we have now! but he did say I can have as many as I want!! ;D and he knows why I got the roo in the first place! Maybe he wont care!! I need to keep up with his egg addiction!! I told him for V-Day he can get me chickens.. His response: and you can get me eggs!!

and thanks for the compliments on him! His personality is as good as his looks too! I give them treats and he gets all excited!! Like he's about to wet himself!

He makes the cutest 'Happy' sound! but ends up not getting as much because the girls are speedy little vacuums and he's busy being excited!!! haha!
