What type of Bantam is this????

I have a 9 week old Bantam Chick from a local feed store that is up to now unidentifiable! She is at this moment going through her adolescent ugly phase. She was born yellowish white and is now developing red marks on her back. Has anyone seen this look before? Do you know what she might be?

Well she sure looks like a Cornish. Not a Cornish cross, a good thing if you don't want to deal with butchering! But the red could just be a rooster they threw (of a different variety) to make her meatier. Very cute bird!

not sure what a cornish is but in UK we have a bread that is a RIR male crossed with a white leghorn Female

that is white with red patches and lays light brown eggs

we call it an amber star
