What type of Brahma is this?

My understanding is that blue partridge brahmas can have blue, gold or splash chicks. I just hatched some eggs and was wondering what this chick looked like?

Its definitely partridge. Have to wait till it feathers out more to be sure if its gold partridge, blue gold partridge, or splash partridge. Looks like Gold Partridge if I had to guess right now.

It depends on the breeding on what patterns you'll get.

Gold x gold will produce only gold.

Gold x blue gold will produce gold and blue gold.

Blue gold x blue gold will produce gold, blue gold, and splash.

When I use to breed Gold Partridge Brahmas I bred a gold male over gold and blue gold females. So I'd get only gold and blue gold offspring but no splashes.

thank you for your response. From my understanding the breeder I bought the eggs from only has blues, but from her I had previously bought a chick that has turned out splash, and these look way different. I prefer the blue, but am happy with either.

If she only has blues then they can produce all three patterns.
