What type of duck is this?

Got some chicken hatching eggs from a friend who also had ducks, whoops. I believe she has runner ducks and pekins. He is a couple weeks old.

Could be a Runner, not a Pekin for sure. Likely a blue or maybe a chocolate.

At what age could I tell its breed?

You will probably have to wait till they are about 8 weeks, and have all or nearly all their feathers. If it's a khaki Campbell it will mostly look like this

If it's a chocolate runner it will look mostly like this

Do you have a picture of the duck out of the water? We might be able to tell by the way it stands.
