true. Junglefowl are more slender bodied. i didn't really think much about that. all though i do have to say my 4-5 year old hen is one fat fat hen. and is nothing but body LOL. short though. also found junglefowls are great mothers. We used her as a adoptive mother. I think we ended up giving her 13 chicks. all ages. and she would still try to take more but they would be poking out from under her when she sat on them LOL.

Gotta love them game breeds as mothers. I had an AMerican game hen last year that in one clutch hatched out orloffs, polish, shamo, and american games....she loved each as her own. If ya got a game hen around, you can put the incubator at the curb...lol
