What type of varment only eats the head?

I heard it weasels were famous for this. They get so excited that they go on a killing spree.

I haven't really saw anyone post about possums Late one night I hear something crying sound like a baby. I jumped up went out side but not in time to save the chicken. A possum was in the cage just got finished eating the head of my roaster. I disposed the possum. A few weeks later another one got in my dads pin and did the same thing. It took me a couple of weeks but i also disposed that one. It was living in the tree above the pen.

We have lost 8 hens in the past week. All missing their heads. Our problem was/is a fox. Caught her this morning in the act! Any suggestions on trapping?
