What will the offspring be, when you mate a standard and a bantam?

Now, I'm just curious.
Don't take me wrong and think that i would actually consider doing this XD.

I was just wondering what happens when you breed a standard and a bantam?
What size are their offspring? Have people done this before? Will the offspring have issues?
Is their even a word for a size between bantam and standard ?

medium size chicken that how are lot of medium size chickens came about and no the chicks will be ok i have some banty and standard cross babies due to hatch in a day or so

why don't yu give it a go yu can breed an egg layer to a broody breed and have a nice sitting hen
