I am curious about what would happen if a silver Appenzeller Spitzhauben rooster mated with a chamois Appenzeller Spitzhauben hen. Or the opposite, chamois roo x silver hen. What would the offspring look like?

Silver over chamois would essentially get you dirty white with dirty white mottling males and white with dirty white mottling females. I'm not saying it would look bad, but that's the only way I can describe the color.
It would look like this but spangled instead of autosomal barred.

With a chamois rooster over silver spangled hen, you should get dirty white dirty spangled roosters and chamois hens.

Thank you! This is exactly what I wanted to know. Such an interesting color mix!

I have one. This out of my Chamois spitz hen and either my golden Phoenix rooster or the silver spangled Spitzhauben rooster.
