What would it be called?

If you want an Araucana EE, this doesn't sound very Araucana EE-y to me. No tufts or beard, not rumpless. Sounds like a cull, and not going to pass on the traits you're looking for.

Has she mentioned what kind of comb he has?

sexing with barring only works if hens are barred, roo not. That roo will give half barred chicks in both sexes.

if the leghorns are pure, all of their chicks will hatch cream with random black spots and grow up mostly solid white.

if they're a cross like California whites, half will be white and half black but some of those will be barred from the roo.

Is that the roo mentioned in the first post? if so... you managed to get an EE anyways... he is *bearded* not tufted. doubt that seller had araucanas or at least this roo definitely is not araucana x barred rock cross. He's either ameraucana or much more likely, EE crossed with barred rock.

He has pea comb, the appearence is simply a common result of pea crossed with single.

anyways nice specimen and you'll get a colorful flock.

Yes it is the same roo, and I agree it is an EE. I saw that beard and the pea comb and knew he was an EE, I do think he was an EE crossed with a BR, only because his legs are green and white But having the beard and pea comb most likely means he will throw that blue egg gene. Plus his barring will be pretty mixed with all the varieties of feathers my hens have.

Yep exactly. another clue to barred cross are those solid black feathers, it happens on some roos not pure for barring. Great for a very diverse coloring patterning in the offspring.

I really like the way barred crosses come out. Their barring stands out so nicely when you add the misc. colors in you get with a mix.

Glad it's an EE who looks like he's from another EE, not an Araucana so you got the traits you're looking for!
