ok I wasn't sure where where to post this so think here is the best spot.

So about 15 weeks ago I bought some chicks(pullets) from a local feed store. At the time I offered to get some for others. I got them and they picked them up. Well one person ended up with a rooster. She can't have roosters. I have the same breed that I wasn't planning on keeping as a pullet from the same batch so offered it to her. She asked about any others I wasn't keeping so she could get 2. Which I had. that was about 2 mo ago. There have been a few reasons she hasn't come by to get them. I was going to just give her the first one since I felt bad that she ended up with a roo that she gave away. The 2nd one I was only charging what I paid....... As I said it has now been 2 months since that time and I still have them. They are all getting close to POL, I have been feeding them and caring for them the whole time. Last I heard was the would be picked up "sometime this month (July)"

Another thing is my daughter LOVES the one that I was giving her to replace her roo and wants to keep her. I told her that she wasn't ours to keep.....

So my question is what would you do at this point? She isn't super local and is about 45 min away from me which has been part of the problem getting them.

Probably time to be a little more firm. Something like pick up in the next week or not at all. While an hour and half round trip would be inconvenient, I could fit it in this next week for birds I truly wanted.

Would you keep price the same or where they are now 15 weeks say they are more?
