you cross a black sexlink hen with a golden comet roo?

I have hatched out 2 rounds of chicks with eggs from golden comet hens and black sexlink hens. The roo is a golden comet as well.

The chicks look just like a black sexlink. You can sex them at birth. I thought you could not breed a sexlink and get a sexlink.

Please advise..
