whats a hatcher?

Hi!
No difference basically --- except humidity if one is using 'dry incubation'.
A hatcher is an incubator for 'Day 18 thru hatch' (for chickens).

It is good for staggered hatches and keeps the incubator from getting crudded up with the mess from hatching chicks.

I use a Little Giant with fan and auto-turner for incubating and a LG w/out fan or turner for hatching.

Hatchers, dont have turners. Even some incubators dont have turners. Hatchers have trays with covers, and used the last 3 days of incubation.
