What's a post?

Sorry to be so clueless - but when the buy-sell-trade guidelines say I must have 20 posts what does that mean? Is a post a question? A comment? Photos? Information? I don't have anything to buy-sell-trade at the moment but might in the future! Thanks for any information you can give me. And please understand I love computers but do not have a cellphone nor do I belong to Facebook! Perhaps it's hopeless for a 60-yr-old! Thank you.

Hello! Welcome to BYC. Anything you do anything on the forum that is public is a post. Your question here is a post. If you reply to me here it will be another post. If you reply to someone elses thread its another post--does not matter if it is a story, an answer, a question, or a picture.

If you look at your name on this page, under your picture box it says posts: 2. This number will change as you interact more in the forum. It is pretty easy to get 20 posts.

Posting means to go on the forum and post stuff. So you must post on the forum 20 times before you can use the Buy sell trade forum.
