In the past 4 days I have lost 3 hens. All have been inside the house. 2 were overnight but this one was found this evening. All carcasses have been picked clean. No teeth marks and no broken bones. Parts have been separated by connective tissue being eaten away.

The coop is only accessible by a small door on the front and has chicken wire and aviary netting and a solid roof/walls (converted horse stall). The entire turn out area is fenced with 4 foot high electric mesh netting.

We have 4 groups of birds (including one in the next stall over) and have not lost birds from any other group.

Doesn't look like a large predator....but at this point I'm drawing a blank.

The bellow picture is tonight's bird and this was done quickly (I checked them like 2 to 3 hours prior).

If "inside the house" means in a secured coop, the culprit(s) would seem to be other chickens!
It happens....
