Hi guys!
So, lately I've seen my hen have a whole lot of bubbles covering up her eyes. It frequently gets cleaned, but comes back. My other chicken doesn't have it so I'm confused. If any of your chicken's have had this problem, and you've treated it, I would really appreciate any suggestions or advice.

Thank you!!

Bacterial infection (myco bacteria) comes into flocks from wild birds, if your hen has an infection her breath will stink. It's contagious so separate her if possible. The treatment is an antibiotic (Terramycin). Also add some (active culture) Apple Cider Vinegar and crushed garlic to her water

If her breath does not smell it might be a (viral) cold. Chickens with colds are listless and mopey. They might sneeze and have runny eyes and/or noses. Give her some extra protein (scrambled eggs) and add ACV and maybe some buttermilk to her diet for a week or so.

If her breath doesn't stink and she she doesn't have cold symptoms maybe her eye is infected. If it is she will need antibiotic drops twice a day for 5-7 days.
