To give you some background, this year I've bought and added two cockerels to my flock, and I am planning on incubating the first fertile eggs before I get Cochins. I have a budget (under $100, at least for this first hatch), and I want to get a really good incubator for my cash.
Thanks in advance!

I got my incubator off amazon for $50-51 and it works for me.

i got one off ebay to, similar to above, digital auto turn etc .. one thing i can recommend is get a 'seperate' digital thermometer w/ humidity gauge to put in it, look for one with good tolerance specs, you might pay 12$ vs 5$ to get +/-1% vs 3% .. i found that with the incubator i got it was not calibrated accurately .. to the tune of about 3-4 degrees off .. so yeah .. do that as a safeguard so you can be confident where your at with it .. also i would experiment alittle with the new bator AND your new temp gauge you bought and move the gauge around within the bator a few minutes per spot to see what kind of variations you get, especially in corners .. you can wind up with a hatch thats all over the place for several days but can reduce some of that if you know where the temps are the most consistent and avoid cooler spots etc ...
