What's the best way to ship 8-10 bantam birds?

I have someone in TX who is interested in buying some SQ Porcelain D'uccles from me and I live in GA. I have looked at some of those shippng boxes but I am not sure how to ship that many birds. Has anyone ever done this? Of course I know it will have to be much cooler but she was willing to wait to get them. I am just trying to figure out a way to be cost effective for both the buyer and seller

A lot depends on how old they are when you sell them to her. When I ship Adult Dutch bantams (about the size of OEG) I ship 2 per single stall box. So if you tape 2 together, you could ship 4. I also bought the Economy boxes, which are bigger and more square, and if you do not put in the divider to make it into 4 seperate areas, I would bet 6-8 would fit, if they were not full grown. Go to the horizon website and see what their recommendations are for the box sizes.

By the time it's cool enough to ship to her, they will all be adult size. They are d'uccles.
