I had 2 girls that decided to sit, I let them do their thing. I've never experienced the process. I was very excited! One hen had 9 eggs, all were good eggs, but she decided after 5 babies she didn't care about the unborn. They were even peeping in their shells. I tried to save them, but iOnly one survived. The rest didn't make it, so now that you've heard my story. Can you tell me the best incubator for my money? I never want to go through that again. TIA!

I have heard that brinsea mini advance incubator is a reliable, easy to use incubator, but it is 179 dollars.
so sorry about those chicks. :(

I have 2 Brinsea Mini-Advance incubators: 1 used from ebay, the other new from Brinsea. I had to calibrate the temperature on each of them, as it was off by 1 to 1.5 degrees (too low in one incubator and too high in the other). Once they were calibrated, they worked quite well.

I use a large brinsea, i found it on my local Craigslist, for way less than its worth. One of my BYC friends accused me of Stealing it, at 250$!!! I want to advise you not to go LG 9300. Thats the still air version of LG. It killed my last set with a heat spike. The LG 9200 is a little better but really your best to stay away from the brand as a whole. Just 2 cent from an user of those two brands :)
