What's the breed of this handsome guy??

This was the complimentary Rare Breed that came with my Daddy's Spring chicks order, he was brown and striped as a chick and now he's this fine specimen of a rooster!

He's hilariously small, but not Bantam sized, just hen sized. Daddy's thinking a Silver Laced Hamburg?

I have a daughter who used to delight in doling the same thing.

Leghorns of all varieties are my favorite chickens. To me there is no more beautiful breed.

Sourland: We always had Leghorns growing up, and they were certainly pretty, but we've recently leaned towards Plymouth Rocks, Red Stars, and New Hampshire Reds for our flock (my own personal as well, as we order ours together).
