I cannot seem to find it. I have 14 ducks and I am trying to figure out if I have room to add more ducks next year. :D Thanks! (I know what it is for chickens but not ducks)

They say for an outside run should be 100 SF per bird and inside lock up at night should be 2 to 6 SF per bird. I think that is kind of small, so I have always had a larger area for mine.

We have a half acre for 9 ducks and 4 geese.

Due to the stench waterfowl carry I always do 8-12 Sq feet per duck to keep the odor down.

Depending on breed and climate: 2.5-4 sq ft of floor space for med-lrg breeds if housed at night only. Minimum 6-8 sq ft if they will be housed continuously in bad weather (cold or rain etc)
Yard 10-25 sq ft per.

Ducks don't have stench! They have a unique aroma!

haha Thanks guys!

Ok I will do my math (so not my forte) and check my numbers. I think my ducks have plenty of room though. My coop is an octagon shape and is about 10 feet across. The ceiling is about 8-9 feet tall. Pretty high. I only have 14 ducks and they are out on the pond from 9am to 9 pm. (9am because I was told that would help keep more of the eggs in the coop lol)
