What's the easiest way to get rid of lice?

My birds have lice. Yuck. what's the easiest way to get rid of them?

I use 5% Sevin dust, I had good luck with it. I hold the chicken with one hand and sprinkle the dust on with the other. Then I rub it all through their feather making sure it gets down to the skin. If your chickens aren't used to being handled, it may be a 2 person job!
