Where you are at? Summer or Fall or other? Storms?

It has really started to cool down here. Gardening here is a FAST process, get those plants in as soon as possible, and make them grow grow grow before fall sets in.

Last night was pretty cool, I would say in the 40s I think. There was another night a while ago that created frost on the car windows in the morning. There is talk of covering the tomatoe plants at night. We have had a few hot (80*) days, but we are definitely experiencing fall weather. I got out my down comforter last night, and the squirrels are burying their nuts.

I Insulated my coop this weekend, because last year I hadn't done a good enough job. I think they will be nice and cozy now. Can hardly even hear the roos crow when they are in the coop.

Just wondering what the weather is like elsewhere?

Still in the upper 80s and low 90s here and unfortunately dry. The rain from Gustav drenched everything thoroughly and caused a lot of runoff and now we're right back to waiting for water.

It's been really nice at night-time here - in the mid to upper 50s. During the day, mid 70s. Very nice weather, but our daylight is slipping away...I've got a pen with 12 pullets that are right at egg-laying age, and I think they probably won't start now until spring. Sigh.

We have had cool weather, low 60's. Tonight is suppose to get down in the high 40's. It's to soon for this cool weather

The rain can also stop anytime. We've had it off and on for a week and it's bleak, no sun shining, blahh....

Here in CT we've had a weekend of heat and humidity. Today is drier but low 80s. Sunny after Saturday which brought the remnants of TS Hanna during the night. That was much milder than we'd been told to expect. Nights have been in the high 50s low 60s and very pleasant. Temps are to drop to the low 70s by Wednesday and it should start feeling like fall soon. The leaves are just starting to change with a few that are quite colorful already.

Currently 50°F and 96% humidity... been storming since, well...

all summer. Sliding into fall now, with all the beautiful colors.

107/77, which reflects a slight cooling down. Last week got to 110F which, seriously, isn't bad for summer in the desert - especially if it's dry heat.

Cooling down for sure - lows in the low 40's - highs in the mid to high 60's, rain and a little sun today.

my tree's are turning colors.........

I am north of cluckychick and getting the same weather. It has rained all day and is cool, not looking forward to 40s tonight. I have a football game to go to and have a feeling it is going to be pretty chilly before it is over!
