Whats the weirdest thing you've done for your chickens???

I'm curious to hear about the the weird things chicken owners have done for their flock!!

The weirdest thing I've done was hold an umbrella over my favorite hen when it was raining so she wouldn't get wet while she foraged

Gently cutting pingpong ball sized globs of rock-hard muck from thier toes. Don't know why they got these, hasn't happened again. Sure was bad for a while, caused a lot of broken eggs.

i think the weirdest thing i ever did for my chickens is to go out there in the rain and lightning to tell them to get out side and chased them in and it toke about 10 minutes to get them all in and my favorite turkey out of all the chickens kept running back out so i ran to him and picked him up and put him inside but it was soooooo sad when he died 3 weeks ago
