Whats this ??.. Orpington?

Anyone have any ideas on what breed this might be ?

NOT an Orp- wrong color ears & legs. Possibly a Minorca or Andalusian. Sure have been alot of these popping up lately! Nice color on him though!

I only guessed orp because i googled (white cockerel ) and thats the closest i found

I think he's lavendar.

Is that a roo? where are the hackles and the saddle feathers? I know it has a big comb but is it not a hen?! can't help on the breed but the colour looks lavender to me.

Looking at other examples on google ..Im leaning towards Andalusian now ...finding the same colour is quite hard though ..

NOT an Andualasion. They have blue legs. This roo has YELLOW legs. I think Self Blue Leghorn.

The British Poultry Standards, Fourth Edition, gives variety descriptions under the individual breed standards. A prerequisite to reading the British Standard is to define self color -"a uniform color, unmixed with any other." In Britain the self blue of the U.S. is called lavender and when they use the term "self color" it could be black, buff, blue, white or any other plain unmixed color. Blue is always listed as "The Blue" and only by reading the descriptions does one know whether it is laced or non-laced blue for that breed standard.

...after doing some more research i found this pic named AraucanaWithLeghorn.jpg ..im assuming the one on the right is the araucana ...so that makes the left a leghorn
