What's with all the mosquitoes?

DH & I went out to the coop last night to check the new auto pop door. The mosquitoes were unbelievable! We haven't had rain for about 2 weeks and there is no standing water around other than the waterer.

Get some purple martin or swallow nest boxes.

We have giant columns of mosquitoes that form every evening right outside our windows - they are terrifying looking. The swallows do put a dent in them, though.
