whats with my silkies neck

Ok...so I have 3 silkies I've hatched. They are about 6 weeks old. One has a nice thick fluffy neck, one has a feathered but not very fluffy neck, and one has a scraggly sparse neck. All were born fully fluffed. Should I be concerned?

check for lice or mites. Also watch for feather picking by the other birds.

Can you post a photo?

At 6 weeks, they're still growing feathers in and looking awkward. It could be nothing. It could be something. It could be they got a naked-neck gene from somewhere.

It is probably a roo and going thru the ugly teenaged phase. Give it time, feathers will grow in.
