Does anyone know what may be wrong with this chick? Or if i can do anything for it? It was fine until about a week old then it didnt want to put weight on the leg and was holding it off to the side. Its toes are curled almost on both feet and now the other leg seems to be starting to have the same issue. Any ideas? (And i dont use newspaper as bedding, just set it on it to try to get a picture)

Hey looks like splayed leg syndrome although never known them to get it so late after hatch. My advise would be to cut a small piece of straw, put an elastic band/thin hair bobble through the straw with two hoops on either side. Slot each foot through a hoop and leave for a week or so. It will struggle to begin with but should fix this. Re check in a week.
When you cut the straw make sure it’s short enough to keep the legs pulled in a normal stance.
hope this helps

Or if you don’t have that you could always use a plaster, but personally never tried this way. But cannot see why it wouldn’t work

It could be a number of things, could’ve fell funny or could be bedding material, or just keep on paper towels for now if possible and do what I said above, I’ve had amazing results, usually works within 2 days on newly hatched chicks but with this being little older I’d just leave on that bit longer
Hope it works

Hey sorry didn’t look at their feet, you could also make it a flat shoe so using a small square piece of cardboard, flatten the toes out and use tape to stick them flat. Should do the trick. The chick will undoubtedly struggle even more but even if it doesn’t figure out how to walk with all this on, make sure it’s eating and drinking, just everything being pushed in another position should fix it
