Hi, my silver laced wyandotte, Pepper, has laid about 6 eggs now and all have had spots- what's going on? Should I be concerned? How can I help her? Thanks!!

Nothing's wrong. That's just how she may be laying for now. In my experience the spotting is not always a permanent thing and can change over time. I would enjoy it while it lasts as it is very unique and makes it easy for you tell who it came from.

Check out this link. It is all about different aspects of egg laying and coloring. There is a photo on this site that looks very similar to yours. The article states, "Uneven, striped, spotted or speckled shell coloring results from the uneven distribution of pigment as the egg passes through the oviduct."
