What's your brand?

What brand of feed do you use? Is it the best? Pellets or crumble and why? What are your preferred chicken treats and how often do you give them to your flock? I'm curious how others feed their flock.

We use an off brand that I got at one of the local feed stores, but intend to switch to nutrena crumble when we finish this bag of pellets. We don't allow out flock to free range so we grow grass baskets and provide fresh fruit and vegetables from our garden and occasionally the grocery store on a regular basis. I think they are pretty happy chicky babes.

I use a Fleet Farm brand, it's called Sprout, I have tried other brands but my birds won't eat them, this brand smells good enough to eat. I give a scratch mix of ground corn and sunflower seed, I have whole corn always available, any left overs that the hound dog don't eat goes to my birds, either they eat it or they don't, mine are free range so they hustle up a lot of their own food, in the winter I give them slabs of hay to pick through.

I try to use star milling feed for all my livestock feed needs its fresh smells good and I like the ingredients and its milled in my state. I do buy other feed if there cheap but star milling is my go to feed
