Does anyone do this? Can I add some to their mash ?
We have like no grass in the winter.

Curious, what makes you want to add it? I'm not sure that it has any health benefits, especially if you already have a balanced feed. The main draw of providing grass, IMO, is as entertainment and forage, of which a powder provides neither.

Perhaps it would be more worthwhile to either sprout seeds or find some untreated turf?

Let me know if I've missed anything, it's an interesting idea. :pop

I thought grass has all the nutrients that Geese need so that’s a health benefit

It definitely wouldn't hurt them. People add it to there smoothy for benefits of vitamins A, C, E, and B vitamins, as well as a little beta carotene

I added pea protein powder sometimes in the winter. You can soak certified timothy pellets overnight and mix it in with there feed but not to much just a few pellets will make a cup.

Im for anything that helps to cut there soy contained in there feed and keeps up there protein.

Let me know if you try it and what your geese thought of it. My geese can tell if I've added anything to food and won't touch the food if there's anything extra in it, the goobers.

I occasionally give my geese hay in the winter to chew on if you want to save your powder. Sometimes they eat it, sometimes they ignore it, but it's there if they do feel the need for grass. The muscovies seem to actually eat the hay more than my geese do for some reason.
