Wheaton Bantam

We recently lost a bantam hen that we were told was a Wheaton. Whatever she was, she was IMHO a perfect hen. My question is, are Wheaton's a common Bantam breed and does anyone have them?

Was she a gamey hen? If you give us a better description then we can probably help you tell what she was, but Napalongtail is right, Wheaton is a colour.
