Within 24 hours my entire chicken flock (16 adults, 5 chicks) has started gasping, wheezing, and coughing. There is no nasal discharge and and they do not seem droopy. I have not cleaned out my chicken coop in awhile, so maybe that's why?
We had a single chicken coughing about two months ago, but we medicated them and it want away....
My rooster isn't crowing like he normally is, but he doesn't sound congested, unlike my other chickens.
Please help, I don't like how quickly this is progressing....
EDIT: The flock's been free-ranging for about four hours now. The coughs seem to be getting better, however, my rooster's crow is still really congested.
