About a week ago I noticed my chicken, Scruffy, had a limp. I checked her out and found nothing wrong. No cuts, bumble foot, parasites, etc. I assumed it was a sprain. The next day she was dead lame limping around the yard, but still eating and drinking. Throughout the week she recovered. Some days her limp is noticeable and some days it’s completely gone. Today I went out and heard her wheezing. She is still eating, drinking, and foraging. I keep my coop relatively clean and use straw bedding.
