My female muscovy is now 2 weeks shy of being 3 months old. I was under the impression that they are full size by 3 months but I dont know how that could be since mine is still very small. Around what age are muscovies full sized and stop growing? I was also wondering how old my female should be before I put her in with my male. My drake weighs almost 16 pounds and I dont want him to crush her if he tries to breed her.

I THINK my 3yr old female has finally stopped growing, i think

. My girls are usually big enough to go in the pen with the adults around 3 months old and I have never had a problem with the boys trying to breed the "baby" girls. My boys are also big but they're pretty mellow too. I move much younger babies to the coop during spring/summer when the weather is nicer. do a trial run and see how it goes, if he tries to be a jerk and you dont think she's safe just seperate her again.
